Property Taxes
Our District has suffered from unconscionably high property taxes that threatens the livelihood of our residents and causes thousands of people downright suffering. For far too long, politicians have used clever words to avoid address the problem and simply wasted the trust of the public. I intend to reduce the cost of government, reduce the inefficiency bureaucracy, and win back the people’s trust.
Ethics
Corruption is nothing less than a plague in our state, driving up the cost of government as it lowers our expectations from our leaders. At every level of government, residents deserve elected officials who resist any temptation to use their office for private gain. I have supported the highest ethical standards in the Democratic Party and I will work to bring strong ethics reform to Trenton by aggressively supporting a strong ethics code covering all government officials, whether elected or appointed, where state or local, whether Republican or Democratic.
Healthcare
Just as we reduce a crushing property tax burden and upload ethical standards for government officials, we can never afford to forget that our District is suffering from a lack of health insurance for those who need it. This failure is a direct threat to the health, safety, and welfare of district residents. When I get to Trenton, I will make the accessibility and affordability of quality healthcare a top priority. Our families and seniors deserve nothing less. |
